Curious Press is a carefully curated collection of paper and fabric goods designed and produced by hand using vintage techniques. We specialize in letterpress goods for those who value the handmade as much as we do and love making from scratch, whether in the kitchen or the garden.
Most of our products are produced on a letterpress that dates back to 1913 and still works as well as the day it was made.

All of the designs and illustrations are created by me, Amanda Holl. I’m a graphic designer with experience in publication design and editorial illustration, but my true passion is in linocut and letterpress printmaking, illustration, Making Things and Figuring It Out.
That’s where Curious Press gets its name: from the continual process of discovery and learning.

Sustainability

Care for our impact is a core factor in all we do. Our small batches of handmade goods mean that we have an incredible level of control over sourcing our materials, packaging, and making sure our waste is as low as possible and responsibly handled. Our papers are made in the US using hydropower and all contain at least 30% recycled content. Our fabric goods are made from natural fibers and use as little plastics as we can manage. Our packaging is all fully plastic free. Our waste is collected and reused when possible, and composted in our home garden when the scraps are too small to reuse.
